Jacob’s Reward Farm exists and serves because of the love, talent and dedication of many people, working toward the single goal of giving the Farm away.  The complete list of cherished volunteers goes on and on, but the following folks contribute in official capacities:

Cindy and her family live at Jacob’s Reward Farm.  Cindy was entrusted first with the property, and then with the vision of a farm that connects people to all the right things.  Cindy is the author of the recently published book, “Giving Away the Farm: How Kindness, Critters and Yarn Knit a Community Together,” available at

Kris’ passion for balance and order helps keep the farm financially accountable and strategically positioned for the future.  Kris has now added knitting to crochet in her yarn craft tool belt.

Gail was one of our first and most dedicated farm hands—she can handle any animal chore that arises.  Her unique artistic touch gives the farm much of its quirky and endearing personality.

Michelle, a talented quilter and natural dyer, is also a valued farm hand, and manages our newsletter and other vital communication efforts.
